Cerastium holosteoides is a ANNUAL/PERENNIAL growing to 0.3 m (1ft). It is in flower from April to September. The species is hermaphrodite.
The native range of this species is Temp. & Subarctic Eurasia to New Guinea (Mt. Kaindi). It is a subshrub and grows primarily in the temperate biome.
