Mesembryanthemum can be grown from seed sown indoors in a free-draining compost in late winter or early spring. They need light to germinate, so don't cover the seed and keep the compost moist at 18-20ºC. The seed should germinate within two weeks. You can multiply your mesembryanthemum by cuttings, too.
