Leaves very broadly ovate-elliptic to almost round, up to 12 cm long, 3-veined from the base, thickly textured, green and hairy above with sunken veins, much paler below, covered in greyish-white or cream-coloured hairs; base slightly cordate at the base; apex rounded to slightly nothched; margin toothed.
