Description:
Erect, glabrous, branched herb. Leaves alternate, linear-oblong to spathulate, to 10(20) x 0.8 cm, glabrous, base decurrent, margin obscurely toothed, apex acute, spreading. Corymbs terminal or in upper axils, notably diffuse, to 25 cm wide; peduncle to 7.5 cm. Capitula heterogamous, radiate, 1.5 cm wide; receptacle 2 mm wide. Phyllaries lanceolate, to 5.5 mm. Outer(ray) florets 1-seriate, to 7.5 mm. Ligule 3-lobed; tube 6 mm. Achene linear. Inner(disk) florets 5.5 mm. Corolla tube 4.5 mm; lobes 5. Stamens 5. Achene 1.5 mm. Pappus 5.5 mm.
