Found in southwestern Tanzania and Malawi in montane forests under shrubs in dense shade at elevations of 1800 to 2000 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with a very short stem carrying 2 to 4, linear-oblanceolate, obtuse, basaly twisted so as to all lie in one plane leaves that blooms in the fall on a fairly wiry, .6 to .6" [1.5 to 2 cm] long, 2 to 5 flowered inflorescence
