From northern India, this member of the Aralia family is know for it's showy unusual large foliage that is divided like a snowflake. Can grow to 20', although slow, uncommon in the trade. Part shade, especially for young plants. Spiny trunks when young. Likes rich well drained soil and regular water. These are seed grown.
