Reunion Island Bottle Tree. Unusual pachycaul (thickstemmer) from Reunion Island, Indian Ocean. To 2m plus in the ground or keep confined. Member of the Nettle Family, and can sting. At Sandy Bay I had a big one which I'd saw down every time it reached the soffit (at 2.1 metres). It would sting me in retaliation. But soon be up to the soffit again. No pics can I find yet.
3.Indoors OK, Outdoors OK in warm, well-drained position in mild areas.
