Microcoelia is, we think, the greatest leafless genus from Africa. Sadly, species from this genus are rarely seen. Fortunately however, this particular species grows easily and produces a huge number of sprays with small white flowers. It looks like little grey twigs covered by snow. We propagate cuttings from the mother plants, and suggest you grow them by just setting the plant on top of a basket, using no media for maximum air movement. Slow to grow from seedlings to maturity, so when opportunity knocks.. buy one! We grow them in a propagation house with good air movement, but lower light and good humidity. Our customers eat them up when available!
