Anomatheca laxa (former name).  10 seeds each order.  Order 3 items for 30 seeds, etc.

This unique flower is related to classic Freesia, but better suited to the rain and humidity of the South. It will bloom the first year from seeds. Unfortunately it is difficult to find. In cold climates (like Canada) it can be grown as a summer annual. Just save seeds to re-plant each year. In warm climates it is winter growing, but can survive rain and bad soils. It is a forest growing species from a summer rainfall area of South Africa. It will survive frosts into the teens, although the foliage will be damaged at colder temperatures. In some mild climates it stays evergreen.

When you can find these in the US, they run upwards of $5 a bulb. Grow your own from seed instead. Plant about 1/4 deep in fall to spring (mild climates) or late spring in colder areas. Usually blooms in spring, but temperatures will determine bloom time. 6-8" tall.

Price is per seed.  Germination for us has been over 60%.  Sprouting is dependant on seasonal temperatures and can take some time.  We DO NOT guarantee that each seed will grow.
