Garcinia sp. "Medroño"

Garcinia sp. Medroño, which is different than Garcinia madruno (Madroño), is a male and female reproductive organs in separate individuals - you need 2 (male and female) for fruitdioecious Garcinia that grows in Northern South America where it yields 8cm x 4cm fruits that contains a large quantity sweet pulp.

There is speculation that this could be Garcinia pulvinata.
