Purple isn’t the only color signaling spring is on the way in Oaxaca.
The city is also alive in the pink of Tabebuia rosea blossoms.
To borrow from the old Perez Prado song…
It’s Tabebuia rosea and jacaranda time.

Gorgeous!
First the yellow Primavera amarilla, then the purple Jacaranda, and now the pink Tabebuia rosea. It’s beautiful out there!
Oh, it must be spectacular! I love your blog & photos and always looking forward to the time I can visit Oaxaca again!
Thank you for your kind words. Oaxaca awaits!
Thank you Shannon
I always enjoy your posts.

Thank you, Kathy. Oaxaca continues to inspire!
Thank you Shannon!! I always have questions about tree names and no one seems to know. I did see my first – I think – Magnolia here in Oaxaca. It’s right next to the yellow house with the Virgen of Guadalupe on Reforma. Big, white, beautiful blossoms. It’s heavily trimmed.
Yes, I think that is a magnolia. I have a small one on my terrace, it’s pretty young and I’m still waiting for it to bloom for the first time.
