The Volusia County Courthouse, opened in 2001.  The courthouse is made of precast concrete with a brick facade. The building contains many interesting architectural features, most notably, a clock tower with a seal of Lady Justice.

The Volusia County Justice Center, completed in 1990, is a three story octagon shaped structure. Volusia County was the first county in Florida to use a design/build process in constructing a courthouse. The courthouse was designed with security high technology and aesthetics in mind.

The Volusia County Courthouse Annex was built in 1970 to fill the needs of the county’s growing eastern population. The courthouse is in a beautiful location on the Halifax River. The three story building is of modern design.
