3 Types of Pants to Pair with Crop Tops

CROP TOPS ARE MAKING A COMEBACK

Crop tops are coming back, and I am here for it! Now this isn't your 90's style crop top with low-rise pants that showed all the mid-drift. To wear a crop to now, we are pairing them with high-waisted pants! This is key. It prevents showing really anything, unless, of course, you are lifting up your arms. There are currently so many different styles out there, from flowy blouses, to a basic tee, and into athletic. They also come in various lengths too, depending on the style and brand.

Here are some ways to style the tops:

1. Denim

Let's talk denim; so many options out that are high-waisted. My favorite to pair with a crop is a high-waisted straight leg denim. A couple of my favorite pairs are the Levis Wedgie Straight Jeans and Abercrombie Ultra High Rise.

2. Leggings

Now, about leggings—make sure your leggings are high-waisted! I love to wear a cropped sweatshirt or tee with high-waisted leggings. For an added layer, I will add a denim jacket for dimension. My favorites are these leggings because they are ultra high rise and not to mention incredibly soft. Great for everyday and working out!

3. Joggers

Joggers are also a great option; again, high-waisted is essential! I like to pair with joggers because you can still define your waist and a crop shows the tie and waistband. Here are a couple of my favorite joggers.

Honestly, the options are endless—skirts, shorts, etc. Just make sure they are high-waisted, unless you want to show some skin! If you like the crop top trend but are unsure if it's for you, try it as a layered look. Add a blazer, moto jacket, cardigan or denim jacket for more coverage. You can also go up a size to add more length!
