Geranium (Pelargonium graveolens)

Geranium, which has a sweet, rose-like aroma, is a hormone regulator known for its balancing properties, both on the emotional and physical levels. It is an uplifting oil which helps relieve anxiety and depression. Because it balances the production of sebum, it is valuable for many skin problems, including acne and eczema and is especially good for mature skin. Geranium also has antiseptic and diuretic properties and is known as an insect repellent. Caution: Avoid long-term use if you have a history of estrogen-dependent cancer.
