Ophioglossum (Adderstongue) is a genus of herb in the family Ophioglossaceae. They are native to Hawaii, Pacific Basin excluding Hawaii, Canada, The Contiguous United States, U.S. Virgin Islands, Greenland, Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon, Alaska, and Puerto Rico. They have simple leaves. Individuals can grow to 8 m. They have alternation of generations.
