I’m not sure because the plant identification app does not give which specific cypress this tree is. I bought it at Walmart in Ashtabula Ohio. I googled it and it’s either Monterey or Monterey golden, or lemon cypress. I guess I’ll know when it stops growing at three feet.

Trying to clone lemon cypress... Wish me luck. This is may be the number 27 İ am trying with the same type of tree. Everytime İ do something new.... İ failed 26 times 😂😂😂😂😂

Has anyone successfully kept a lemon cypress alive? #CupressusMacrocarpa #PlantGraveyard #HappyPlants This is our second attempt at keeping a lemon cypress alive indoors, but despite all our effort, he’s begun drying out again. We’ve tried repotting, humidifier, grow light, etc. Does anyone with experience have any tips on keeping these things indoors long term?
