How to fertilize Schefflera Elegantissima
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Schefflera Elegantissima after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

I’m wondering if I should put this in soil or wait. So I got it in a subscription box and when I received it 95% was dead. I tried to bring it back with no luck so I trashed it. It was added to my compost bin. One day I was turning over my compost and saw green so I pulled it out and it was said plant with new growth.

Why does Ronaldo have areas of sticky leaves? I found 2 mealies about a week apart and treated with the quips wiping regime and have seen no more but the sticky leaves. TIA #FalseAralia

Is she dying? Hi, I'm a new plant mom and really concerned about this new one. I just received her a couple of weeks ago and at first she was standing upright and confident. 😂 I bottom water her once per week and she's in my bathroom with a window facing North and a skylight directly over her. She's also in the bathroom with 6 other thriving plants. I don't know much about the variety of plant. Help?! 🥺 #falsearalia

Just been giving this plant from my aunt after her husband passed away. He was the one caring for this #FalseAralia and she’s not looking to hot. But if he’s got her to grow this tall he probably was doing a great job! I think she just got forgotten about and she hasn’t been watered in 2+ months. I gave her a big big drink and her foliage seemed to perk up a tad not feeling so papery. She didn’t want to lift her self up at all so I taped up her leafs in hopes to get her to heal those stems. I’ll have to see if she’s gonna develop root rot and I’ll have to treat her from there. Any advice? Does she look savable? Will she fill out or should I chop and prop?
