Erect shrubs, upto 1 m tall; branchlets tomentose. Leaves 1-foliolate, 6-15 x 2.5-7 cm, ovate, elliptic to broadly lanceolate, base broadly cuneate or rounded, apex acute to acuminate, glabrous above, pubescent or hairy on the nerves beneath; lateral nerves 5 or 6 pairs; petiole 1-1.5 cm long, tomentose; stipules to 1 cm long, linear-lanceolate, scarious. Racemes axillary and terminal, simple or branched, flexuous, tomentose; bracts to 2 x 2.5 cm, ovate-cordate, folded, membranous, each enclosing short few-flowered cymes. Flowers c. 1 cm long; pedicels c. 2 mm long. Calyx-tube c. 2 mm long; lobes 6-7 mm long, lanceolate. Petals white; standard 6-7 mm long, oblong-obovate; wings oblanceolate; keels obliquely oblong. Pods enclosed by the bracts. 6-10 x 4-0.6 cm, oblong, pubescent.

Morphology
Shrubs, 2-4m. Leaves 1-foliolate, 4-183-10cm, oblong, acute, base rounded, glabrescent above, silky pubescent beneath; petioles 5-10mm; stipules linear-lanceolate. Flowers 7-8mm,yellowish, in terminal and axillary racemes; bracts and bracteoles caducous. Calyx lobes subequal, velvety. Corolla glabrous, yellowish. Pods 7-13 6-8 mm, oblong, finely downy.
