• Key identification features : Shortly rhizomatous herb. Stem bases are somewhat thickened, covered with dark fibers. Leaves are long. Inflorescence are of simple umbels. Rays are short, spikes obovoid. Spikelets suberect, nut oblong and slightly curved.
