  • Key identification features : Rhizome is short or long, creeping, densely scaly at the apex. Stipes are scattered, grey-green, scaly at the base, glabrous above. Lamina oblong-lanceolate, simply pinnate; pinnae about 25 pairs, opposite or sub-opposite, shortly stalked; pinnae dark green, glabrous above and below; texture herbaceous. Sori seated on sub-basal part of acroscopic veinlet, indusia pale brown, entire; spores ellipsoid or planoconvex, dark green with many surface folds.
