Notes

Perennial grass 10-90cm tall.  Leaves with a hairless or rough sheath at the base.  Ligule a fringe of hairs or a membrane with a fringe of hairs.  Leaves 7-14cm long, 1-4mm wide, threadlike and rolled, rough, hairy, or hairless, margins smooth, with a fine point.  Spikelets 2-3mm long.  Mature seed groups cylindrical.  Seeds with 0 bristles.  Rare Vic.
