Polygala tacianae (Polygalaceae), a new endemic species from Chapada dos Veadeiros region, Goiás state, Brazil

Summary

A new species of Polygala (Polygalaceae) subgenus Polygala, Polygala tacianae J. F. B. Pastore & Harley is described and illustrated. The species is endemic to a small area in the Chapada dos Veadeiros, Goiás state. The relationships of the new species are discussed and a full description, together with illustration is provided.
