Summary. Two new species are described from Madagascar: Panicum crystallinum Judz. & Voronts. and Panicum inconspicuum Voronts. These are accepted in the genus Panicum pending further work. A key to the 18 species of Malagasy Panicum s.l. with spikelets shorter than 2 mm is provided.
