Zusammenfassung
Vater J.J. Corbeil hat in den letzten 30 Jahren weit über 10 000 Exponate im Moto-Moto-Museum zusammengetragen, darunter auch zahlreiche ethnomedizinische Dokumente. Er wird ‘Butala bwa Maka’ genannt, ‘Mr. Energy’. Das Foto zeigt ihn im Spätjahr 1982, noch vital und unternehmungslustig; seinen Erkenntnisdrang bezeichnet er als “poor self made”. Der Kontakt wurde erstmals 1978 über die Kübelstipendanten E.L. Iskenius und Ursula Froster geknüpft. Das hier gedruckte Dokument wird hiermit erstmals in dieser Form vorgestellt.
