This plant is a non-native cultivar of the native Firebush. While there are many similarities, the leaves and flowers are about half the normal size. Its reddish-orange flowers can be seen blooming all year round. It is a wonderful accent piece in any garden and attracts many types of pollinators- including butterflies and hummingbirds. If given the right conditions the plant will reach 3-5 ft. Firefly Firebush do best in full sun to partial shade with dry or occasionally wet soil.
