Tall Mallow (Malva sylvestris) is a perennial that may grow 2-4 feet high by 2-3 feet wide. It will tolerate full sun to partial shade and moist but not wet soil. Rose-purple flowers bloom July to September, it makes a great border plant. This is not native to Florida but it is the larval host plant for the Painted lady butterflies.
