Columbia coreopsis (Coreopsis tinctoria)
Information: This flower is also know as (coreopsis atkinsoniana) or common names; golden tickseed or calliopsis. It belongs to the sunflower looking family and the shots I took were actually in a foot of water. This flower primarily runs along the Columbia river and thus most places it’s found is along the river bank all the way down into Oregon.
