No, we've been ordering online, they really have impressed us, our drinks were brought out in a plastic bag and placed on a table for collection, they haven't even let you go inside for pick up!! Cleanest boba pick up I've seen in davis this… more

I love iTea anywhere- it's the go-to boba spot. The short distance it is away from campus is so convenient and fun. Their drinks are always top-notch and so good. I feel like the flavors of the milk teas, for example, are much stronger and heartwarming than other locations. For example, the Okinawa milk tea tasted like comfort for me lol. The atmosphere is very lively and it seems like a great place to study, especially outside in the patio area. The popcorn chicken is so hot, juicy, and flavorful; yum.
I also tried the unagi don rice bowl and damn it's pricy (~$17) for such a small bowl but at least they gave me a lot of the eel and it was tasty.
Not much to say about service since they don't take people's orders. But the encounters I've had with the workers when I go get my drink, so thumbs up.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Daisy S.Davis, CA3313Nov 8, 2023
As I like drinking milk tea, I have tried drinks and popcorn chicken from many stores, but the basil popcorn chicken in this store is the best I have ever tasted.
One problem is about packing bag fees. I usually order their takeout, but the last time I went to pick up food from the store, I had a bad impression of it. When the food was ready, I asked for a packing bag, so I could take the food away. But I was told there was a charge for the packing bag. In the end, I had to leave holding a huge pile of food with both hands. When I placed the order on DoorDash, there was not prompted for additional packaging fees. This is my only dissatisfaction with this store, but overall, their food and milk tea are pretty good.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Samira B.Elk Grove, CA0121Jan 29, 2024

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!
I have been to Itea several times before and like the honey brown rice milk tea with 0% Sugar there. It was good.
I ordered the milk tea as usual today. However, it was full of sugar and sooo sweet!!! So I went to ask the staff to check if they had added sugar to it by mistake. I understood that because it was a little busy (but not as busy as usual cuz it's final week) at that time. The staff told me that they did not add sugar but honey in it, and they always do that, which is impossible because I have this milk tea several times.
However, the staff kept quibbling that it was not their mistake and never apologized to us. Impatience shows on the staff's face for the whole time. What shocked me next was that the staff talked with each other for a long time, and one of them SNATCHED AWAY the milk tea from me and poured it into the sink without saying a word!!!!! Is that correct for the catering industry to do that??? Then, they use the same cup to remake the milk tea. This time is unsweet. During the whole time, none of them said sorry or apologized to us, just doing their own business full of anger and abomination. They just used this attitude to customers' normal appeal with their own fault.
I will never go to this place again--shitty experience with this suck service.

i-tea is one of my favorite boba spots in Davis. There's tons of seating inside and outside which makes it a great place for studying and chilling.
Drinks are always bomb. I go for the Peach oolong (and add sea cream if I'm looking for a milk tea). Their boba is a bit lacking - I wish it had more flavor and texture.
Service is decent - I went with a long line but it came by fast. I highly recommend ordering ahead on the link. I hate how there's a service fee with ordering in your phone though. :/ It also seems like they're a card only establishment. Parking can be a bit tough but you could prob find some street parking.
Overall, itea is still a great place and I love getting their drinks.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Nana Y.San Francisco, CA04235Nov 2, 2023Updated review
I tried some more food! It's good, nothing amazing or jaw dropping but easy since it is close to campus. I believe the chicken cutlet is now $17 and the fried montao (what I think it is - maybe, donut?) is $8. As always, still pretty good and solid just a little on the pricey side but what isn't pricey now.

The food is about average price. I ordered a chashu over rice. It has a lot of rice and quite the amount of pork in it, sprinkled with seaweed. I'm not sure what the yellow food is called. However, although I felt that the food could be considered pricey, it was enjoyable!
