'Asahi' is a unique shade plant for your garden. 'Asahi' is the result of when you take a traditional southern staple in the garden in a cast iron plant, but add a bit of Japanese gardening flare. 'Asahi', which translates as "morning sun", refers to the white tipping variegation on each and every leaf. For us, 'Asahi' is just as tough and easy to grow as the species, making this an easy choice to add to the garden. ‘Asahi’ may not variegated as well in a container and will show some burn in a container. In the ground, ‘Asahi’ will grow amazing and display awesome variegation for you.
