I am native to Kenya and other countries within East and Southern Africa including Mozambique and South Africa. I am a small tree, and I am usually around 2.5 metres in height and can look like a shrub. I grow in forests, coastal locations, and in rocky localities. I have an elf-supporting growth system and I can grow in a variety of locations. My common name “furry-fruited teclea” is inspired by my small, purple fruits that have short hairs on them.
