Annual; caespitose. Culms erect, or decumbent; (4-)8-12(-17) cm long; 0.1-0.3 mm diam.; (2-)3-5 -noded. Ligule a fringe of hairs; 0.25 mm long. Leaf-blades (0.6-)1-1.5 cm long; (1-)2-5 mm wide. Leaf-blade margins ciliate; hairy at base. Leaf-blade apex acute.
