'Bluecrop' Blueberry Bush

Vaccinium Corymbosum

Moderate grower with large, light blueberries.

A great blueberry plant for colder climates.

Ripens in mid-season. Beautiful red fall foliage and red stems. Flowers provide nectar for pollinators and branches provide shelter and nesting sites for birds. Semi-evergreen.

Produces big clusters of large, all-purpose berries — perfect in salads or pies, or served with cream. Developed in 1934, introduced in 1941. Cold-hardy. Ripens in July.

We recommend spacing these plants 3 - 4' apart to ensure room for growth.

Self-pollinating, but will yield larger crops if pollinated with Blueray.

High yields, that are generally crack and disease resistant.

  • Watering Needs: Best with regular watering for fruit production.
  • Mulch: To conserve water.
