Comments: It is usually a multi-stemmed plant, with an untidy rounded crown. It has tangled branches which arch downwards or droop. This rather haphazard look gives it its common names, puzzle bush and deurmekaarbos. It is believed to bring luck to hunters and protection from hail. Used as a food source for domestic stock.
