For sale is a 6-10" tall Spanish Lime (Melicoccus Bijugatus) seedling that is shipped in a 2.5" pot.
The Spanish Lime is not a lime at all. It is actually a member of the Lychee family. Has a somewhat tart taste although delicious and refreshing. The tree is evergreen, surviving tempts down to the low 30's as long as it is protected from frost and wind. The fruit grows in large clusters like lychees. Grows to be a fairly large tree, but can be pruned to be smaller. Trees begin producing fruit in 5-9 years from seed. Flowers are born on male and female trees so you need at least two to pollinate.
