SEEDS OF COMMON NETTLE - URTICA DIOICA

Herbaceous plant known for stinging and irritating the skin if you brush it. Medicinal properties. Known for producing severe burns and stings when skin is in contact with the plant. Its hairs contain acids, resin and other substances.

The whole plant, either fresh or dry, contains active principles such as: chlorophyll, mineral salts, A provitamin, serotonin, tannins and many others…Grown at the foot of a Rosebush will prevent aphids presence. It grows on humid and rich soils.

Perennial flowering plant reaching 1.5m in height. Covered with skin rash hairs. Erect stems. Oval, strongly serrated and dark green leaves. Green-yellowish flowers from July.

Direct sowing with temperatures 10ºC night/15ºC day. Lightly cover the seeds and maintain the humidity until germination is completed.
