Cardboard Palm is an ancient plant in the cycad family that is native to Mexico.  It can make a fantastic statement plant due to its unique look and prehistoric vibe.  Its name refers to the texture of its leaves, which totally do feel like fuzzy cardboard!  Like all cycads, Cardboard Palm grows *extremely slowly* which is why we're excited to be offering such a large specimen, which is likely at least 10 years old if not much older!

Light: High (direct sun ok in moderation)
Humidity: No special needs
Fertilizer: Sparingly, and only when the plant is actively growing
Water: Drought tolerant. Allow to dry completely between waterings

Cycads are highly toxic if ingested so make sure and keep your curious pets and hungry toddlers away from this one.
