Plants cannot be shipped until they are strong enough for transit and the weather from Ohio to you is warm enough so that the lifeforms can survive overnight stops. If the spring weather is sunny and warm in northern Ohio, then some plants may ship earlier. If the spring weather has a lot of storms, cloudy weather and is cool, then some plants need a tad more time to get strong enough for transit.
