MEDICINAL PROPERTIES

● The entire plant is used as depurative (helps in purification)

● It is used in the treatment of hepatitis.

● It is used to cure cirrhosis of the liver with swelling and pain in the pharynx

● The fresh juice of the leaves and stems is applied externally as a lotion to cure snake and insect bites, burns, scalds and eczema
