One of many grass aloes from South Africa, most which I have not been able to keep alive for even 3-4 months.. this one I managed several time to get it even to flower, but then I lost them. Most grass aloes hate summer heat in inland southern California and this one seems to be no exception. Fairly large for a grass aloe (leaves up to 2' long, narrow with very itty bitty white teeth). Flowers in early to mid summer

These are last year's seedlings. They are in a 2.5" pot and there were 19 seedlings crammed in.

Congratulations, mickthecactus it's beautiful - I have seedlings from last year, they grow fast.

My seedlings from march 2020 are already flowering. Incredible fast growing species in Holland.
