Description
Selaginella willdenowii is a terrestrial plant related to ferns, native to China and Central Malaysia. Bushy in habit, it has rapid growth. Its fronds, 15-20 cm long, are deep green with iridescent blue tones. The tone and intensity of blue will depend on the amount of light it receives, obtaining a violet tone if it is grown with low light. Its cultivation in terrariums or greenhouses that allow maintaining high environmental humidity is recommended.
- Light: semi-shade, never direct sun
- Irrigation: moderate, avoid waterlogging. Requires high humidity (70 -85%)
- Temperature range: 15 - 27 ºC
- Substratum: Loose substrate rich in organic matter, we recommend using our substrate for premium begonias
