Product Description
Selaginella kraussiana 'Aurea'
a/k/a Gold Clubmoss, Golden Spikemoss
Zones 7 to 9.
Partial to full shade
Mature stems may reach about 6 inches tall,
with clumps reaching up to 2 feet across.
Thin branching stems of golden yellow leaves form a low-creeping, moss-like velvety mat of semi-evergreen foliage. Creates a stunning contrast around dark greens.
Requires a rich, well-drained, humus soil mix, very easy to grow, but very sensitive to drying.
Spreading habit makes it a good shade groundcover, in containers or in tropical terrariums. Propagated by cuttings and division of clumps.
Ten (10) plants in 4.5 inch containers per flat (or tray).
