Plants of the genus Huernia are known for their wonderful flowers often with contrasting colours of dark read with either yellow or cream. Huernia is a perennial succulent creeper which is native to East Africa, South Africa, Ethiopia, Saudi Arabia and Yemen.
Like most cacti and succulents you should only water when the top of the soil is dry and even less in the winter. It requires a pot with good drainage and a specialist cactus mix.
Huernia can be propogated from offshoots from the stem. Let the stem dry out then plant it in a pot. Huernia should be protected from frost and they prefer partial shade or bright light but avoid full sun in the summer.
