Rhamnus alaternus 'Argentovariegata'

Variegated Italian Buckthorn

Evergreen Shrub

A beautiful, and underused, evergreen shrub for creating structure in your garden. Narrow, glossy leaves with white variegation and dark stems on a neat and tidy shrub that develops a rounded form. Makes an excellent hedge or screen. Mix it with other foliage colors and textures for added interest. Does best in full sun, is drought tolerant, and will be relatively quick to take its place in the garden. It may be pruned, within reason, to manage size.
