These are from 2023 plants! Jewels of Opar. This is an upright perennial, frost tender, which reaches a height and spread of 24 inches. These bear large clusters of tiny pink flowers which are followed by orange/red seedpods. The leaves are oval shaped and are a bright yellow green. These are great for fillers for any border or container. These plants are also edible, and leaves and stem can be blanched and used in salads, eaten like purslane or cooked in stews and soups.
