Ceropegia linearis woodii ~ String of Spades ~ String of Daggers ~
We recommend all orders ship with a heat pack at this time. Even if you are in a warm state, we are not, as we are on the East Coast. We only guarantee orders that ship with heat packs! If no heat pack is ordered, winter plant shipments are done at customer risk and will not be replaced or refunded if cold damaged. One heat pack does a large box of plants - so only one is needed. We charge $10 for the packs as they add a half pound of shipping weight to the box, and also include special thermal bubble wrapping of each pant ordered.
This could be your new favorite string! A delightful and delicate trailing succulent-like plant with spade shaped leaves. 'Heartless' is an unusual plant which is often difficult to find. We are so very happy to be able to offer these special beauties to you~
Ceropegia woodii leaves are lovely and multicolored. Leaves are a dark green with silver veining, and purple undersides (when exposed to brighter light). Leaves are a pretty bright silvery green with no purple evident when given less light. The plant has an unusual, purple, pipe shaped flower with hairs. When fully grown, vines can reach 2-3' in length.
The last 2 photos compare the rounded String of Hearts (on the left) to the angular 'Heartless' (on the right).
**Our new batch of plants are well rooted in 2.5" mini pots. Plants may or may not have flowers**
Easy to grow. Expose plant to bright indirect light (But not full sun).
Water when the plant goes dry. Do not overwater ~ or allow the soil to become soaking wet. Water less often in winter when plants are dormant.
Can be fertilized monthly at half strength when in active growth (Spring/ Summer) with cactus fertilizer.
Propagate with cuttings. Slow growing.
THERE IS NO INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING OF PLANTS
***IMPORTANT GENERAL SHIPPING INFO*** We ship plants Monday - Wednesday only, to prevent them from spending the weekend in a USPS shipping facility. Plants ship Priority Mail to ensure they are delivered in 1-3 days time. YOU MUST BE HOME TO ACCEPT THE PLANT, so it can be unboxed immediately on receipt. Plants cannot be allowed to sit in a hot mailbox or on a cold porch in the elements. If you can't be home to accept delivery, consider having the package sent to your work place, or to the home of a friend or family member who will be available. If there is damage, please contact me within 2 days of receipt, and include photos of the plant and the shipping box.
