Lobelia laxiflora is a perennial herb or shrub in the Campanulaceae family. A native to the Americas. Some common names, including Mexican lobelia, Sierra Madre lobelia, Mexican cardinalflower, looseflowers lobelia, and drooping lobelia. It can grow to 2 feet tall and 15 inches wide. The leaves can vary in size, shape, and texture depending upon age. The inflorescence can reach up to 2 feet tall with several flowers out at one time. The flowers bloom from mid-summer until early fall and are around 2-3 inches long, usually red, orange, and yellow. It can grow in full sun, part shade, and light shade. Zones 7-10

Germination

Sow seeds on top of the medium, tamp seeds down, and do not cover with soil. Mist the seeds several times a day while keeping the soil moist in a bright spot. Keep temperatures around 65-75F. Germination can be erratic for 7-90 days.

We will include basic instruction with your packet of seeds that you order but outside of that the more you research and learn on your own the better experience you will have.
