  • Cissus alata  'Ellen Danica' is a cultivar of Cissus alata Jacq., or the Grape Ivy as it is more commonly known, is a robust evergreen climber that blooms with green flowers in the summer months. Highly popular for hanging gardens, ground covers or climbers, the highly attractive bright green ivy foliage is a show stopper year round. In horticulture it is also known under its synonym name Cissus rhombifolia M.Vahl.

     

    Genus name comes form new Latin, form Greek kissos (ivy).
