Heptapleurum arboricola'Gold Capella' (formerly Schefflera arboricola 'Trinette' ) is a variegated cultivar of Heptapleurum arboricola Hayata. Commonly known as the Dwarf umbrella tree, it is a native of South East Asia. It is evergreen, with palmate leaves and small umbels of flowers. It is a one of the most popular houseplants worldwide. 'Gold Capella' has green, glossy palm-like leaves, oval in shape with irregular splashes of gold, yellow and pale green variegation.
