Geranium (Pelargonium graveolens) is a gorgeous essential oil that results from steam distillation of the stalks, leaves and fresh flowers. It is noted to balance the nervous system, relieving anxiety and depression and lifting the spirits. It has been said to have a balancing action on the adrenal cortex as it helps to reduce stress, balances the hormones, and helps with anxiety. It is ideal for maintaining homeostasis in the body.
