Pittosporum undulatum or the Sweet Pittosporum is a quick growing tree to around 10-12 metres tall, with a broad, domed crown.
It has richly glossy leaves are lance shaped, with scalloped edges and in spring it produces star shaped, fragrant creamy yellow flowers in profusion that are followed by yellow to brown fruits.
This tree prefers warmer climates but is marginally frost hardy.
A popular street tree it also self seeds very well and will often be seen growing uninvited (not classified as a weed but getting there).
